A finely carved period Victorian white marble fireplace. The plain frieze centred by a projecting tablet of flowers and foliage. The carved jambs decorated with floral and foliate drops beneath moulded capitals, with simple mouldings framing the opening. Surmounted by a moulded shelf. Statuary white marble, with some veining in parts. English, mid 19th century.
