A brass and steel firegrate in the Georgian manner. The tapering, engraved legs surmounted by classical urn finial with fine engraving. The burning area with serpentine bars, flanked by sidewings with beading and further engraving. The pierced, fluted fret engraved with square paterae. English, 19th century.
