A polished steel Georgian style firegrate. The tapering legs with fluting and oval paterae, surmounted by urn finials with fine rope mouldings. The serpentine fret with fluting throughout and beading below. The burning area with shaped front bars and plain cast iron back behind. English, 19th century.
