A good quality brass and steel firegrate in the Georgian manner. The tapering brass legs surmounted by classical urn finials. The pierced, beaded fret engraved with mythical beasts and urns. The burning area with bowed steel front bars, flanked by engraved sidewings. Plain iron back plate to rear. English, 19th century.
