A finely proportioned, petite English Regency statuary marble fireplace in the neoclassical taste, with fluted jambs with vertical anthemion-style drops and carved side blocks enriched with floral paterae. The panelled frieze centred by a draped garland.
Circa 1810, most likely from a small London workshop, reflecting contemporary French neoclassical influence.
