A good quality French Carrara marble chimneypiece in the Louis XVI manner. The stop-fluted jambs surmounted by scrolled acanthus leaves and square paterae. The shaped, stop-fluted frieze with carved centre blocking featuring foliage and tied ribbons. Moulded shelf above. 19th century.
