A fine quality English late Georgian fireplace in Italian Statuary marble. The frieze with interspersed flutes and carved panels depicting pipes and other musical instruments. The jambs with cascading ribbons, amphorae, pipes and rosette paterae. Moulded shelf above. A very fine piece. Late 18th/early 19th century.
