A fine quality 18th century carved pine and lime fireplace in the manner of Robert Adam. The frieze with centre plaque of flowers and foliage, juxtaposed by a demi-urn and scrolled foliage, and carved side blockings with classical urns. The shelf with dentil, oval rosettes, acanthus leaf and unusual Greek key mouldings. Scottish, circa 1770. Photographed prior to restoration (restoration included in the sale price).
