The pierced, engraved fret with flutes and oval pateras with beading above and below, the side wings with bell drops, beading and circular pateras, the tapering cylindrical legs surmounted by finely engraved finials. Decorative shaped front bars and plain cast iron back. Pair with FG1231. (German silver is an alloy with a mixture of copper, zinc and nickel that was first used in Germany at the end of the 19th century).
