Antique Fireplace Fenders

Showing 1–36 of 39 results

Thornhill Galleries stock a wide variety of antique fireplace fenders of both English and Irish origin. Combining functionality and aesthetic, fenders can be positioned either in front of or on the fireplace hearth, protecting the floor directly in front of the fireplace from embers or logs that may spill out from the burning area. Our collection of antique fenders includes those made from steel, brass and bronze, with many designs dating back to the 18th century, although our range also encompasses models from the 19th and 20th centuries.
