A good quality Georgian wood fireplace. The panelled jambs surmounted by scrolled brackets carved with acanthus leaves. The frieze with centre plaque carved with drapery, fruit and flowers, flanked by scrollwork. The frieze with dentils, egg-and-dart, and acanthus leaf mouldings. English, late 18th century.
