A fine and well carved pine Rococo fireplace in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The latticework frieze with centre piece of an eagle in flight, the end blockings and jambs with elaborately carved leaf and scroll decoration. Currently painted but could be stripped if desired. English, mid 18th century.
