Antique Fire Baskets & Fire Grates

Showing 1–36 of 223 results

Thornhill Galleries’ extensive range of fire grates and fire baskets encompasses both antique and reproduction designs. Our collection of antique firegrates span the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and also include a selection of architectural models which could comfortably sit within a more contemporary interior scheme.

From the impressive and imposing Gothic inspired designs of the mid 19th century to more delicate, intricately worked Georgian firebaskets, our collection includes models crafted from a variety of materials, including wrought and cast iron, steel, brass and gunmetal. We also carry several very rare pieces of particular importance including an imposing Neo Gothic firegrate from the Falkirk Foundry in Stirlingshire, ornately cast with gunmetal enrichments and official stamp to the rear. If you have any questions about any of our antique or reproduction firegrates please don’t hesitate to contact us.
